Get started in minutes! Follow our simple step-by-step guide to install the Thesify plugin in Microsoft Word and start receiving smart feedback and helpful resources—right where you write.
Open Word document
Open a Microsoft Word document using the online version (Word for the web) on your computer or laptop.
Search Add-in
Go to the Add-ins or Store option in the toolbar. In the search bar, type Thesify and press Enter.
Add Thesify
Find Thesify for Microsoft Word in the search results and click Add. Once installed, look for the Thesify tab in your Word toolbar and click it to open Thesify.
Sign Up or Log In
Sign in using your Thesify credentials or a social account — or sign up if you're new.
Start Writing
Add your text or paste your paper into the document (if you haven’t already).
Select Paper Type
By default, the paper type is set to Scientific Paper, but you can change it by clicking on it. You can also add details about your paper or assignment to get more tailored feedback.
Get Feedback
Now it’s time to get feedback — just click the Get Feedback button.
Iterate
You can iterate on your document and simply click the Refresh button to get feedback on the latest version of your text.
Make the Most of Thesify
Whether you're writing a scientific paper, essay, or grant proposal, you can use the Resources tab to explore relevant materials that support your content. Theo surfaces curated references, research, or insights that align with your topic and writing goals.
If you're working on a scientific paper, check the Opportunities section to discover relevant funding calls, research programs, or academic initiatives. These suggestions are tailored to the content of your text and help connect your work with real-world possibilities.
Writing an essay? Use the Topics tab to explore related themes, arguments, or prompts that help guide your thinking. It’s an easy way to strengthen your structure and stay focused while drafting.
